look:They are large powerful looking dogs.They have diamond shaped eyes. It comes in many colors which are a deep hazel - a yellow. They have long droopy ears. They have muscular front legs. They have very soft ears and heads. They can be black & tan, liver & tan, and red & tawny and red. Also they could have a bit of white on there chests,feet and tip of the tail.

temperament: This dog is a kind,patient,mild-mannered and very lovable. They also are gentle and affectionate. They are also great with kids. They are good nature companions. They will just lie there and let your children poke,prod and climb all over them (so don't worry about them snapping at your children)But do make sure your kids dont hurt or pester the dog because they will sit there and take it But they love the attention from them. They are energetic and rambunctious when little. Also very determined and independent. They need a firm but not a heavy handed trainer.it needs a calm but also stern trainer which will bring out its willingness. They owner will need plenty of patience. But don't expect them to be to obedient because in there nature they are gentle but hard to obedience train. They need a daily walk because if they dont get a daily walk they will become hard to handle. Socialize them well to stop them from being timed.

Health Problems: These dogs a easily bloated so feed them 2-3 SMALL meals daily.Avoid any exercise after a meal. Some get stomach cramps. They can get ear infections.

Living Conditions: They will be ok in an apartment with a proper amount of exercise. They aren't very active indoors and would do best with a average sized yard.

Exercise:They love a good run. Also need a bunch of exercise. They need a long DAILY walk. But if it picks up an interesting small its will be hard to get there attention. They have lots of energy and could walk for hours. So they would love to hike with you. But wait till they are older because they tired easily when they are younger.

Life Expectancy:10-12 years

Litter Size:8-10 and some get 15 pups

Grooming: Easy to groom. Bathe only when needed. clean the dogs ear regularly.
