look:There shape is allot like a greyhound.They have black nose and dark eyes.They also have small ears. The fur can be long,silky,flat or wavy.
They can be Black, white, tan, tan or gray with black markings and golden

temperament:They are a sweet and intelligent dog. They are very loyal to there masters. They are affectionate to people they know well. They can be trained in obedience but they have a mind of there owns and are less worried about pleasing humans than other dogs.But are very intelligent and are capable learners.To train this breed you need to be firm and consistent. They are quite and barely bark. Like the basset hound they cant be trusted off leash and should only be let off in an fenced of area. And should only have dogs no other pets. They get along ok with kids but isn't ideal that they are a the child's companion.

Health Problems:They are prone to bloating like the Basset hound you should only feed them 2-3 SMALL meals a day. Avoid exercise after meals.

Living Conditions: They will do okay in apartments with the right amount of exercise.They are no very energetic indoors but when outside they love to play and walk and run so they would be best in an average sized yard.

Exercise:They need a long DAILY walk. Also plenty of off leash time. They are excellent jogging companions and will run along side you and your bike.

Life Expectancy:10-12years

Litter Size:Average 6 pups but they can have from 1-11 pups

Grooming:easy to groom. Bathe only when needed. Clip fur in between toes. This breed is a heavy shedder.
